Job Description

We are looking for a motivated

Estimator

with a Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering to join our

Steel Detailing

. The candidate will assist in preparing project cost estimates, analyzing drawings, and supporting the tendering process under the guidance of senior engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and interpret structural and architectural drawings. Assist in preparing

Bills of Quantities (BOQ)

and

material take-offs

from drawings. Support senior estimators in

project costing, pricing, and tender preparation

. Maintain and update rate databases for materials, fabrication, and erection works. Coordinate with design and detailing teams for clarification on project scope. Prepare basic

cost summaries and estimation reports

. Learn and use estimation-related software tools (MS Excel, AutoCAD, Tekla, etc.).

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma in

Civil

or

Mechanical Engineering

(Fresher eligible). Basic understanding of steel structures and fabrication drawings (added advantage). Knowledge of

AutoCAD / Tekla

will be preferred. Good analytical and numerical skills. Proficiency in

MS Excel

and documentation. Willingness to learn and grow in a steel detailing environment.
