Job Title: Estimator

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and managing cost estimates for construction projects, from initial conceptual stages to final project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and manage detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment costs.

2. Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project requirements.

3. Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to determine project scope and requirements.

4. Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to gather pricing information and negotiate costs.

5. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure estimates align with project goals and objectives.

6. Identify and mitigate potential risks and cost-saving opportunities.

7. Develop and maintain estimating databases, spreadsheets, and other tools.

8. Provide accurate and timely estimates to support business development and project delivery.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.

2. Minimum 2 years of experience in estimating, preferably in the construction industry.

3. Proven track record of delivering accurate and timely estimates.

4. Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.

5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

6. Proficient in estimating software, such as [software names].

7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
