Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced

Estimator

with a

civil engineering background

and

Gulf experience

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for civil, interior, and fit-out projects by analyzing drawings, specifications, and other documents. The candidate should be familiar with GCC construction standards, materials, and pricing.

Key Responsibilities:

Review project drawings, BOQs, and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates. Analyze project requirements and determine quantities, materials, labor, and equipment costs. Obtain quotations from vendors and subcontractors and evaluate their pricing. Prepare and submit competitive tenders, proposals, and cost breakdowns. Coordinate with the design and project teams to ensure estimates align with project scope and timelines. Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options. Update and maintain a database of material and labor rates. Participate in project handover meetings and support the team during project execution. Stay up to date with market trends, new materials, and construction methods in the Gulf region.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent. Minimum

3-5 years of experience

as an Estimator in the

Gulf region

(UAE, Qatar, Oman, etc.). Strong knowledge of

civil, interior, and fit-out works

estimation. Proficiency in

AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software

(e.g., Candy, Primavera, or similar). Excellent analytical and numerical skills. Strong communication and negotiation abilities. Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with GCC tendering procedures and local pricing standards. Experience in both

pre-contract and post-contract

estimation. Attention to detail and accuracy in cost analysis.
