> Analyze architectural drawings, specifications, and project documentation to determine painting and coating requirements.> Perform quantity take-offs using digital estimation tools (e.g., Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar software).
> Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates, including materials, labor, equipment, and overhead.
> Source and negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services.
> Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop project proposals and budgets.
> Prepare and present bid proposals in a timely manner.
> Track and update cost databases and pricing trends for ongoing accuracy.
> Assist in post-bid reviews and handover meetings to ensure a clear understanding of project scope and pricing.
> Ensure all estimates comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and building codes.
Qualifications and Attributes:
Education
: B.E. in Civil Engineering.
Experience
: Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience as a Painting Estimator.
Proficiency:
Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar take-off estimation software is an advantage.
Strong analytical and mathematical skills with understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
Excellent attention to detail.
Effective communication and negotiation skills.
Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
