Create and manage detailed project budgets, ensuring they align with the overall organizational goals and project scope.
Cost Monitoring & Control:
Track project expenditures, monitor budget variances, and implement cost-saving measures and value engineering initiatives to optimize project costs.
Financial Analysis:
Analyze financial data, identify cost drivers, and conduct cost-benefit analyses to support decision-making and profitability.
Reporting:
Prepare and present regular financial reports, forecasts, and progress updates to senior management and other project stakeholders.
Contract Management:
Review vendor and contractor bids, negotiate contracts, and manage change orders to ensure fair and competitive pricing.
Compliance:
Ensure that all project financial activities comply with internal policies and external financial regulations.
Collaboration:
Work closely with project managers, design teams, contractors, and other departments to achieve project financial targets.
Project Lifecycle Management:
Provide cost management input throughout all project phases, from pre-construction and design to post-contract and project closeout.
