Job Description

Key Responsibilities:



1. Estimation & Costing



Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and rate analysis for civil works. Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents to ensure complete cost coverage. Collect and analyze data on materials, labor, and equipment rates from vendors/subcontractors.

2. Tendering & Bidding



Prepare and submit competitive bids/tenders within stipulated timelines. Coordinate with procurement, design, and project teams for technical and commercial inputs. Evaluate subcontractor quotations and prepare comparative statements.

3. Cost Control & Budgeting



Support in preparing project budgets and cost monitoring throughout execution. Track project expenditures and highlight cost variances to management. Assist in value engineering studies to optimize project costs.

4. Contracts & Documentation



Prepare technical and commercial proposals as per client requirements. Maintain updated rate databases, cost libraries, and historical project records. Coordinate with QS team for verification of contractor bills and variations.

5. Coordination & Reporting



Liaise with project managers, site engineers, and clients for cost-related clarifications. Prepare cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and MIS reports for management.
