Job Description

Cost Estimation:

Analyze tender documents, drawings, and specifications to calculate time, labor, material, and other project costs.

Data Analysis:

Develop and maintain cost databases, analyze market rates, and conduct cost-benefit analyses.

Collaboration:

Liaise with clients, project managers, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather data and resolve issues.

Reporting:

Prepare detailed budget estimates, progress reports, cost tracking reports, and value engineering studies.

Value Engineering:

Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or scope.

Documentation:

Manage and maintain accurate records, including Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and technical data sheets.

Software Utilization:

Use specialized software for cost modeling and data management.

Market Research:

Stay updated on new materials, construction methods, and industry standards.
Key Skills & Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil,).

Analytical Skills:

Ability to scrutinize documents, compare quotations, and evaluate project feasibility.

Communication:

Excellent verbal and written communication for client and team interactions.

Negotiation:

Skills to negotiate with suppliers on technical and commercial aspects.
