Job Description

Position: Estimation Engineer - Civil

Location: TDEC - Chennai Office

:

? Reviewing the drawings and specifications of the projects prepared by the design team, and accordingly creating the final detail or Bill of Quantities (BoQ)

? Reviews the Contract Documents to become acquainted with requirements and specifications of the project.

? Assists in developing and preparing Job Budget by activity based on the Contract. ? Understand the Construction Civil system.

? Electrical load calculation of a project, existing load as well as proposed load with respect to criteria of HVAC equipment.

? Coordinating with Sub-Con/Supplier, Techno-commercial analysis of all the Material prior to material submittal

? Identifying the cost and time constraints

? Knowing the supply cost for each individual element.

? Determining the labor requirements for completing the project.

? Maintaining an civil cost database.

? Negotiating with the suppliers and vendors.

? Maintaining a healthy relationship with the vendors.

? Notifying to the client for any changes

? Completing the project bids as per the guidelines.

Desired profile of the candidate

? Bachelor's degree in engineering (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineer)

? Proven work experience as a cost estimator using mathematical skills.

? Working knowledge of MS Office applications with advanced MS. Excel skills and Candy Estimation Software Advantage.

? Advanced knowledge of construction and engineering processes. ? Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

? Good verbal and written communication skills.

? Advanced analytical skills.

Experience: 7+ years

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹11,758.37 - ₹50,000.00 per month
