We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented
Estimation Engineer (Plumbing)
with around
1 year of experience
to join our MEP team in Thane. The candidate will be responsible for preparing cost estimates, analyzing drawings, and assisting in tender preparation for plumbing and related services.
Key Responsibilities:
Review project drawings, specifications, and BOQs to prepare accurate plumbing cost estimates.
Assist in quantity take-offs and rate analysis for plumbing systems and materials.
Prepare technical and commercial bids in coordination with senior engineers and the estimation team.
Support in identifying material requirements, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams for updated cost data and pricing.
Maintain estimation records, vendor quotations, and cost databases.
Assist in site visits or project evaluations when required.
Ensure compliance with relevant plumbing codes, standards, and project specifications.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering.
Around
1 year of experience
in plumbing estimation, preferably in MEP or construction projects.
Good knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and estimation techniques.
Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and quantity take-off software.
Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
