Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Cost Estimation:

Analyzing project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents to determine material, labor, and other associated costs.

Preparing Detailed Estimates:

Developing comprehensive cost breakdowns, including material quantities, labor hours, equipment costs, and overhead expenses.

Collaboration:

Working closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and ensure accurate estimates.

Budget Management:

Assisting in the development and management of project budgets, monitoring costs, and identifying potential cost overruns.

Risk Assessment:

Evaluating potential risks associated with project costs and developing mitigation strategies.

Reporting:

Preparing and presenting detailed cost reports to management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.

Bidding and Proposal Support:

Assisting in the preparation of bids and proposals, providing cost information and justifications.

Continuous Improvement:

Staying updated on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in cost estimation.

Documentation:

Maintaining accurate records of all cost-related information, including estimates, change orders, and invoices.
