Review and analyze interior design drawings, BOQs, and project specifications.
Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for materials, labor, and subcontracting works.
Coordinate with design, procurement, and project management teams to ensure alignment of estimates with project scope.
Obtain and analyze quotes from suppliers and subcontractors for pricing.
Prepare cost comparison sheets and budget forecasts.
Participate in tendering processes and assist in preparing technical and commercial proposals.
Update estimation databases with current material prices and labor rates.
Conduct site visits (if required) to assess project conditions for accurate estimation.
Support value engineering initiatives to optimize costs without compromising quality.
Review post-project costing to improve future estimates.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in estimation, preferably in the interior fit-out or construction industry.
Strong knowledge of interior design materials, joinery, MEP works, and construction methods.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software (e.g., PlanSwift, Candy, etc.).
Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
