Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Estimation Engineer to join our Interior Design / Fit-Out team. The role involves preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project requirements, coordinating with design and project teams, and supporting management in bidding and budgeting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Study project drawings, specifications, and BOQs to prepare accurate cost estimates. Calculate quantities of materials, labor, and other resources required for projects. Coordinate with design and project teams for technical clarifications. Obtain quotations from vendors and subcontractors, and prepare comparative statements. Prepare cost sheets, rate analyses, and budget proposals. Support management in tendering, bidding, and pricing of interior design projects. Monitor cost variations and support project managers in cost control. Maintain and update database of suppliers, vendors, and material rates. Ensure estimates are aligned with project timelines and quality standards.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of estimation, costing, and budgeting in interior design / fit-out industry. Good understanding of joinery, modular furniture, civil, electrical, and MEP works. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software/tools. Analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

Qualifications:

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Interior Design (or equivalent). 2-5 years of experience in estimation and costing within the interior design / fit-out industry.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
