Role Overview:

As an

Estimation Engineer

, you will play a key role in the project pre-bid and tendering process. You will be responsible for preparing

accurate cost estimates

, analyzing

Bills of Quantities (BOQs)

, and supporting

project planning

for infrastructure and EPC projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed and competitive

cost estimates

for EPC projects in water supply, sewerage, and related infrastructure domains. Study and analyze

tender documents

,

drawings

, and

technical specifications

. Conduct

quantity take-offs

and validate

BOQs

. Source and analyze rates for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors. Coordinate with design, procurement, and execution teams to gather inputs for estimations. Evaluate and compile

supplier/subcontractor quotations

for costing. Support the preparation of

bid proposals

,

technical submissions

, and

commercial offers

. Assist in identifying

cost-saving opportunities

,

project risks

, and

value engineering

options. Maintain and update

cost databases

and estimation tools for future references.

Candidate Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree

in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline.

3+ years

of experience in estimation for

EPC/Infrastructure projects

, preferably in

Water Supply & Sewerage

sectors. Proficiency in

estimation software

(e.g., Candy, CostX, MS Excel, AutoCAD). Strong knowledge of

BOQ preparation

, cost analysis, and technical specifications. Familiarity with

CPWD/SOR/DWSR

and other relevant government schedules and codes. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
