Job Description

Role Summary: Prepare techno-commercial proposals, BOQ by understanding the client requirements from sales with accuracy and within the defined timeline by adhering to the processes.
:

• Analyze tender documents & RFQ documents provided by the client
• Review engineering drawing and the details specified therein
• Coordinate with purchase department for raw material prices required for estimation & resole queries.
• Coordinate with sales department before costing of the RFQ about the negotiation margins and also discuss with the logistics department about the freight charges as per the INCOTERMS requested by the client and freight calculations for DDP delivery.
• Respond to technical queries raised by clients on the quotation and revision of the same.
• Provide technical support to sales department as and when required in discussing the requirement of the client and making the appropriate deviations as per our manufacturing feasibility.
• On receipt of order, study terms and conditions and highlight the discrepancies.
• Evaluate the average profit of the order.
• Prepare BOQ / work order and coordinate with the design team for fabrication drawings.
• Coordinate with the production team for any fabrication drawings and resolve related queries
• Ensure proper internal documentation (proposals / offers / revisions / work orders / drawings)

Key Competencies required:

• Excellent drawing skills and plotting on AUTOCAD
• Conversant with international standards VIZ ASTM, BS, API, etc
• Able to interpret the design standards
• Familiarity with the market, product and commercial aspects
• Preparing techno-commercial proposals
• BOQ
• Export documentation & other paperwork as required.
