Estimation Engineer - Electrical / Civil / Mechanical Projects

Noida / Delhi NCR / Project Sites - PAN India

QualificationsMandatory

B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical Engineering

2-4 years of experience in estimation and costing for Electrical EPC / Power / Infrastructure projects

Proficiency in tendering, BOQ preparation, rate analysis, and cost estimation

Hands-on knowledge of electrical drawings, SLDs, specifications, and project scope evaluation

Preferred

Experience in medium & large-scale electrical projects (substations, transmission lines, industrial electrification, etc.)

Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software

Familiarity with government tenders, private EPC bids, and vendor quotations

Strong analytical, negotiation, and documentation skills

The Estimation Engineer will prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and bid documents for EPC projects. The role requires close coordination with design, purchase, and project teams to ensure accurate, competitive, and timely proposals.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze tender documents, drawings, and specifications

Prepare detailed BOQs, cost estimates, and rate analysis

Collect and evaluate vendor/subcontractor quotations

Assist in bid preparation, technical proposals, and pricing strategies

Support project teams during cost reviews, revisions, and client clarifications

Maintain updated database of material costs, vendor rates, and market trends

Ensure compliance with estimation standards, policies, and accuracy benchmarks

Accuracy of Estimates:

BOQs and cost sheets prepared with >95% accuracy

Bid Success Ratio:

Contribution toward winning competitive and profitable tenders

Timely Submission:

Estimates and tenders submitted within deadlines

Market Knowledge:

Updated vendor/material rates for realistic costing

Coordination:

Effective communication with internal teams
