Job Description

We are currently seeking experienced Estimation Engineers to join our team at Shetty Projects and Services Pvt. Ltd., an established Electrical Contracting Firm specializing in electrical projects. As an Estimation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our organization by analyzing project requirements, preparing accurate cost estimates, and developing competitive proposals for our clients.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct in-depth analysis of project specifications and client requirements to understand the scope of work.

2. Gather necessary information and perform thorough research to develop accurate estimates for electrical projects.

3. Utilize your knowledge of the electrical market and price lists to determine material, labor, and equipment costs for project estimation.

4. Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and accuracy of project estimates.

5. Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and cost breakdowns, considering factors such as labor, materials, subcontractors, and overheads.

6. Evaluate potential risks and opportunities associated with each project and incorporate them into the estimation process.

7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technological advancements, and market pricing to enhance the accuracy and competitiveness of estimates.

8. Prepare comprehensive proposals, including detailed cost breakdowns and technical information, to present to clients.

9. Attend meetings with clients to explain and discuss project estimates, answering any questions or concerns they may have.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.

2. Proven experience as an Estimation Engineer, preferably within the electrical contracting industry.

3. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, materials, and installation processes.

4. Familiarity with electrical price lists and the ability to effectively utilize them for accurate cost estimation.

5. Proficiency in using estimation software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.

6. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills, with meticulous attention to detail.

7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and effectively engage with clients.

8. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

9. Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
