Job Title: Junior Design and Estimation Engineer
We are looking for a

Junior Design and Estimation Engineer

to support the design, estimation, and proposal preparation for

firefighting, fire alarm, and kitchen hood suppression system projects

. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, willing to learn, and able to work with the project and service teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare system drawings and layouts using

AutoCAD

. Assist senior engineers in designing firefighting, fire alarm, and

kitchen hood suppression systems

. Analyze service reports, PPM reports, drawings, and project specifications to understand project requirements. Calculate material quantities required for projects based on drawings and site reports. Prepare accurate

cost estimates and quotations

, including material and labor charges. Assist in estimating materials for firefighting, fire alarm, and kitchen hood suppression systems. Review and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications. Use software tools for material take-off, cost estimation, and basic scheduling. Support the preparation of technical proposals and tender documents. Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and suppliers to gather project-related information. Ensure designs and estimates comply with

NFPA and local fire safety codes

. Maintain organized records of drawings, estimates, and project documents. Provide technical support during installation and commissioning when required. Continuously improve estimating methods to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in

Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering

.
Experience:

0-2 years

of experience in a related field. Experience or knowledge of firefighting, fire alarm, or kitchen hood suppression systems is an advantage.
Skills:

Proficiency in

AutoCAD

and estimating software/tools. Basic understanding of firefighting, fire alarm, and kitchen hood suppression systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications. Good communication skills (English and Hindi). Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Good organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work well in a team environment.
