Study and analyze technical specifications, drawings, BOQs, and tender documents received from clients/consultants.
Prepare detailed cost estimates for LV/MV switchgear panels, MCC/PCC panels, APFC panels, bus ducts, and control panels.
Identify material requirements, component specifications, and quantities for accurate estimation.
Evaluate technical and commercial aspects of RFQs and tender documents.
Prepare and submit comprehensive techno-commercial offers and proposals within deadlines.
2. Technical Analysis & Coordination
Coordinate with design and engineering teams to finalize optimal and cost-effective design solutions.
Liaise with procurement and vendors to obtain accurate pricing for materials, components, and services.
Work closely with the sales team for bid clarifications and customer technical discussions.
Review and verify vendor quotations for accuracy, lead time, compliance, and technical suitability.
3. Costing & Pricing
Prepare detailed costing sheets including materials, labor, overheads, and margin analysis.
Optimize costing through alternate material selection, value engineering, or process improvements.
Ensure pricing aligns with company policies, competitiveness, and margin targets.
4. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain organized records of tenders, quotations, cost sheets, and price history.
Prepare bid summaries, comparison statements, and internal approval notes.
Update and track estimation status using ERP systems or internal software tools.
5. Market & Product Knowledge
Stay updated on latest switchgear technologies, industry trends, and vendor pricing changes.
Understand relevant standards (IEC, IS, or customer-specific) and client requirements.
