Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Mechanical Engineering Fresher to join our Estimation & Design team. The role involves preparing technical drawings, product BOMs, cost estimations, and supporting project teams in delivering custom and modular office furniture solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Drawings (AutoCAD 2D/3D)

Create accurate 2D & 3D drawings for workstations, storage units, partitions, tables, and custom furniture.

Modify drawings based on client requirements, design revisions, and site feedback.

Maintain updated drawing libraries for standard products.

2. Estimation & BOM Preparation

Prepare material take-offs, BOMs, and cost sheets for office furniture projects.

Coordinate with procurement for raw material rates (steel, rubberwood, panels, hardware, upholstery, accessories).

Support the sales team with timely estimates & technical feasibility checks.

3. Coordination & Documentation

Collaborate with the Design, Production, CRM, and Site teams to ensure drawing accuracy and alignment.

Prepare technical documentation, product specs, and project submittals.

Ensure version control of drawings and track approvals.

4. Quality & Technical Understanding

Understand manufacturing processes such as sheet-metal fabrication, wood machining, welding, powder coating, CNC routing, etc.

Ensure all designs follow industry standards, manufacturing constraints, and cost-efficiency guidelines.

Skills Required

Strong AutoCAD 2D & 3D skills (training certificate mandatory).

Basic understanding of manufacturing, materials, and mechanical components.

Good analytical and estimation skills.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Proficiency in MS Excel for cost calculations.

Strong communication and documentation skills.

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
