Job summary

Responsible for preparing accurate estimates and managing the tendering process for road, highways, and residential construction projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

Tender Preparation

: Prepare and manage the submission of tenders, ensuring all specifications and timelines are met.

Cost Analysis

: Analyze project costs and prepare detailed cost reports to facilitate bidding and project execution.

Vendor and Supplier Coordination

: Work closely with vendors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotes and ensure cost-effective procurement of materials.

Risk Assessment

: Identify potential cost risks associated with projects and develop strategies to mitigate those risks.

Market Research

: Conduct market research to stay updated with industry trends and pricing to enhance competitive edge.

Collaboration with Project Teams

: Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to align project estimates with operational strategies.

Software Proficiency

: Primavera P6, Estimate Master, AutoCAD

Key Requirements

Experience

: 7-12 years of experience in estimating and tendering within the construction industry, specifically in roads, highways, and residential sectors.

Education

: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.Tech/B.E.) or a related field.

Technical Skills

: Proficiency in relevant estimation and tendering software tools.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field Certification in Project Management or related field
