Job Description

As a Specialist / Analyst / Associate: ESG & Sustainability, you will be a part of the Engagement Team and work on a variety of projects with a focus on Environmental, Social and Governance reporting and sustainability data.

In this role, your main responsibility will be to deliver our suite of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) solutions to our clients. You will work closely with our clients and their internal and external teams (including businesses, functions, consultants, partners, suppliers, etc.) to develop new assets and tools. Depending on your expertise, experience, and aptitude, this role may be sector-agnostic or it may be focused on specific sectors and/or activities. You will represent this ESG- and sector-specific subject matter expertise both internally and externally. You are expected to contribute to the gathering of quantitative and qualitative data, synthesizing and analyzing the results of such data collected inline with our systems and process guidelines and determining the most effective way of communicating analytics and insights using our solutions. You will understand and evaluate clients\xe2\x80\x99 requirements in the context of various ESG & sustainability frameworks and compliances to provide inputs for product development, paid offerings, and processes and systems that meet these requirements. This is a multi-faceted role that requires a wide variety of skills including creative content development, working with people from team members to external partners, in some cases, C-suite, senior or government executives, and defining pricing for new features or offerings. This role also requires marketing acumen and the ability to translate strategy into action and outcomes. Additionally, the ability to evolve new revenue streams based on market research or trends OR recommending alternate revenue sources will be a desirable skill for this position.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1) Engage with clients:

  • Be the face of our engagement with clients and partners, dealing with external stakeholders directly as their first point of contact.
  • Develop customer relationships and understand pain points and performance feedback while protecting our proprietary data and confidential information.
  • Identification and generation of new opportunities, the development of new opportunities in partnership with our sales & marketing team, and the drafting of engaging thought leadership pieces.
  • Analyse and measure the ESG performance of companies and compare against sector and regional peers.
  • Developing reporting concepts, structure, key messaging, and overall content for reports.
  • Produce ESG analysis of the covered companies within timelines and quality standards, demonstrating a proficient understanding of the methodology, process, and overall analytics framework.

  • Managing budgets, schedules, and resources.
  • Collating, calculating, and analysing clients\xe2\x80\x99 ESG data.
  • Help the clients in setting up their profiles on the portal and help them with the onboarding process.
  • Help clients implement our services and plan projects more effectively, often setting up \xe2\x80\x9cdiscovery sessions\xe2\x80\x9d with key stakeholders to identify issues and ways to improve.
  • Monitor and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Boost morale and build productivity within teams for effective and efficient execution of tasks and projects.
2) Reporting and Monitoring:
  • Aligning various frameworks like GRI, SASB, DJSI, SDGs, etc., to SuperHuman Race\xe2\x80\x99s platform.
  • Data collection and research tasks such as review of websites, annual reports, and sustainability reports.
3) Prepare Reports on Project Performance:
  • Track the progress of each project and work to manage the resources and timelines for each one, including the teams working on them.
  • Prepare reports on these projects to identify achievements and goals met as well as to highlight any areas for improvement going forward.
  • Conduct performance reviews and carry out resource management duties.
4) Strategic Thinking:
  • Demonstrable strategic thinking skills, ability to identify a vision along with the plans which need to be implemented to meet the end goal.
  • Evaluate situations and ability to translate analytical information for problem-solving/development and reach decisions and identify issues to address in the short, medium, and longer term.
