The KRAs for this role can be broadly divided into four main categories: Strategy & Implementation, Data Management & Reporting, Stakeholder Engagement, and Compliance & Risk Management.
Strategy & Implementation
Develop and implement ESG strategies that align with the company's core mission and business goals.
Integrate ESG considerations into existing business operations, decision-making processes, and supply chain management.
Lead initiatives aimed at reducing the company's environmental footprint (e.g., carbon emissions, waste, energy efficiency) and ensuring social responsibility (e.g., fair labor practices, community engagement).
Drive sustainable practices across departments, including operations, finance, and marketing.
Data Management & Reporting
Oversee the collection, analysis, and monitoring of relevant ESG data and metrics.
Manage internal and external ESG performance reporting, ensuring transparency and accuracy.
Prepare reports for senior management and the board of directors on ESG progress and performance.
Ensure reporting aligns with established global reporting frameworks and standards, such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Stakeholder Engagement
Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including employees, investors, customers, and regulatory bodies, on ESG matters.
Liaise with ESG rating and ranking agencies (e.g., MSCI, Sustainalytics) to address inquiries and enhance the company's reputation and score.
Provide training and support to employees on ESG-related topics and initiatives to foster a culture of sustainability.
Compliance & Risk Management
Stay current with emerging ESG trends, regulations, and industry developments, providing strategic guidance to the organization.
Identify and mitigate ESG-related risks that could lead to reputational damage, regulatory fines, or financial losses.
Ensure company policies and practices comply with relevant environmental, social, and governance laws and regulations, while also pursuing voluntary initiatives that go beyond legal requirements.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹90,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
