: NetSuite - Finance System Engineer

Role Overview

The NetSuite - Finance System Engineer will be responsible for driving business initiatives in collaboration with finance and business leaders. This role involves gathering requirements, conducting workshops and meetings, and working cross-functionally to optimize financial systems and processes using NetSuite ERP.

Key Responsibilities

Business Engagement & Requirements Gathering

Collaborate with business leaders to understand strategic initiatives and translate them into system requirements. Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and meetings to gather and validate functional and technical needs

System Engineering & Integration

Design, develop, and optimize NetSuite ERP workflows and integrations with other business-critical tools Lead end-to-end NetSuite implementations including configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support

Finance Process Automation

Build scalable financial workflows for processes such as general ledger, journal entries, period close, intercompany transactions, and financial reporting Support automation of financial reporting and consolidation processes

Collaboration & Documentation

Work closely with finance, accounting, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration and system performance. Create and maintain documentation including process flows, functional specifications, training materials, and user manuals

System Maintenance & Compliance

Ensure system performance, security, and compliance across financial operations. Configure NetSuite for multi-currency setups and rapid market entry

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. 3-6+ years of experience in NetSuite ERP implementation and support, especially in financial modules Strong understanding of financial operations including BS/P&L, cash flow, asset management, and reconciliation principles Proficiency in SuiteScript, API integrations, and system architecture. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience with cross-functional collaboration and agile methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

NetSuite certification. Experience with Coupa, Concur, Caligo, or similar financial tools. Exposure to multi-entity and multi-currency environments. * Familiarity with SDLC and sandbox testing environments
