Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to be the internal owner for the complete implementation, customization, and operationalization of the Frappe/ERPNext open-source software on our local server. This role is crucial for integrating all business processes--from sales and design to manufacturing and HR--into a single, cohesive ERP system.
Key Responsibilities1. ERP Implementation and Customization
System Setup:
Install, configure, and maintain the Frappe/ERPNext system on the company's local server environment.
Business Process Mapping:
Work with department heads (Sales, Design, Production, Accounts, HR) to map existing processes to ERPNext modules and identify customization needs.
Customization & Development:
Create and modify DocTypes, custom scripts, reports, and workflows (using Python/Jinja/Low-Code tools within Frappe) to align with the company's unique turnkey, manufacturing, and export requirements.
Data Migration:
Oversee the migration of master data (customers, suppliers, items, opening balances) into the new system.
User & Security Management:
Create user profiles, define roles, and set granular permission levels for all employees across different divisions.
2. Manufacturing & Project Integration Focus
BOM & Production Planning:
Implement and customize the Manufacturing module to accurately define
Bills of Material (BOM)
, manage
Work Orders
, and track
Production Planning
.
Real-time Tracking:
Develop solutions within ERPNext to track
Work In Progress (WIP)
, monitor real-time production status, 5S compliance data, and calculate departmental efficiency metrics.
Project Lifecycle Management:
Configure the Projects module to manage the full turnkey lifecycle, from client coordination, design development (interiors/technical drawings), to site execution and hand-over.
3. Operations, HR, and Finance Integration
Supply Chain:
Implement modules for Purchasing, Inventory Management (across multiple factories/divisions), and Dispatch/Logistics, including overseas export documentation.
Human Resources & Payroll (Frappe HR):
Fully configure the HR, Payroll (including statutory compliance), Attendance, Leave, and Expense management modules for all factory and office staff.
Accounts & Finance:
Integrate Sales, Purchase, and Inventory transactions with the Accounts module.
4. Training and Support
Training & Documentation:
Develop comprehensive training materials and conduct hands-on sessions for all employees, from directors to shop floor helpers/guards, ensuring high user adoption.
Post-Implementation Support:
Act as the first point of contact for all ERP-related issues, troubleshooting problems, and managing system updates.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
Proven experience (1-3 years) in implementing and customizing
Frappe/ERPNext
. Experience with other ERP systems is a plus, but expertise in Frappe/ERPNext is mandatory.
Technical Proficiency:
Strong knowledge of the Frappe Framework, including custom scripting, workflows, reporting, and module configuration. Basic understanding of Python and MariaDB/MySQL is preferred for troubleshooting and custom development.
Functional Expertise:
In-depth knowledge of core ERP modules, particularly
Manufacturing (BOM, Production Planning, WIP)
, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, and HR/Payroll.
Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for training, documentation, and coordinating with senior management and shop floor staff.
