Job Title: Azure Senior Data Engineer

We are looking a highly skilled and experienced Senior

Azure Data Engineer

to join our team. This role requires deep expertise in

Azure Data Factory

and Databricks, including CI/CD setup for Databricks, and strong proficiency in

ETL

,

SQL

, and modern data engineering practices. You will be the go-to person for designing, implementing, and optimizing data solutions with Databricks.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and manage scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF). Develop and optimize data transformations using Azure Synapse Analytics. Write efficient and reusable code in Python or PySpark for data wrangling and processing. Create, maintain, and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data needs. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across pipelines and storage layers. Monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot data issues in production environments. Participate in architectural discussions and propose scalable, secure data solutions on Azure

Required Skills and Qualifications

8+ Years of Data and Analytics experience with minimum 5 years in Azure Data Engineer Extensive experience in Azure stack ADLS, Azure SQL DB, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data bricks, Azure Synapse, Cosmo DB, Analysis Services, Event Hub etc.. Strong experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) for ETL/ELT workflows. Design and build production data pipelines from ingestion to consumption within a big data architecture. Good experience in designing & delivering data analytics solutions using Azure Cloud native services. Good experience in Requirements Analysis and Solution Architecture Design, Data modelling, ETL, data integration and data migration design Advanced knowledge of SQL including writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting queries. Experience with data modeling, data lakes, and data warehouse concepts. Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines in data projects is a plus. Documentation of solutions (e.g. data models, configurations, and setup). Experienced in internal as well as external stakeholder management Azure Data Engineer or Azure Solution Architect certification will be added advantage. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Well versed with Waterfall, Agile, Scrum and similar project delivery methodologies.
