Job Overview:

We are seeking a technically proficient and forward-thinking ERP & POS Systems Administrator to manage the day-to-day operations of our centralized ERP, POS, warehouse, and e-commerce systems across our multi-store grocery chain. This role also involves conducting R&D to evaluate and recommend scalable, cost-effective retail technologies that align with our growing business needs.

Key Responsibilities:



1.) System Administration & Support



Manage and maintain ERP and POS systems across stores, warehouse, and e-commerce. Ensure stable integration between systems (inventory, billing, orders, pricing). Handle system backups, updates, security protocols, and performance monitoring.

2.) User & Access Management



Create/manage user accounts with role-based access. Enforce data and security policies based on user roles. Provide technical support and training to users across departments.

3.) Warehouse & Inventory Integration



Ensure seamless flow of data between ERP and WMS. Monitor inventory sync across stores, warehouse, and e-commerce channels.

4.) E-commerce Platform Support



Oversee ERP-ecommerce integration (order flow, pricing, stock). Troubleshoot issues in online operations (order sync, payment reconciliation).

5.) Research & Tool Evaluation (R&D)



Conduct in-depth research on new ERP, POS, and E-commerce platforms and tools. Analyze scalability, cost-effectiveness, integration capabilities, and vendor support. Create detailed evaluation reports and recommend tools aligned with business goals. Lead the testing and pilot implementation of new systems or modules. Stay updated with technology trends in retail tech, cloud ERP, omnichannel platforms, and automation.

6.) Reporting & Optimization



Generate business and operational reports from ERP/POS. Identify and implement process improvements through system optimizations. Work with stakeholders to customize workflows or reports as per business requirements.

7.) Skills & Experience



3-5 years of experience in ERP/POS administration (preferably in retail/FMCG). Experience evaluating or migrating ERP/POS systems. Hands-on experience with retail platforms like Odoo, Tally, SAP B1, Oracle NetSuite, Zoho, or similar. Strong analytical skills to compare tools/vendors with documented pros/cons. Good understanding of business operations in retail and warehouse logistics.
