Business requirements
Collect business requirements.

Explain functional solutions to development team for building right solutions.
Coordinate with development team for solution development completion.
Review the solutions delivered by development team and perform unit & required regression testing.
Configure and develop
Perform configuration in D365 according to specification. Also coordinate with delivery team to get required configuration completed wherever applicable.

Work closely with business stakeholders to identify test scenarios and test cases.

Training
Contribute to training strategy.
Prepare training material.
Conduct required trainings.
Go-live
Provide input to cut-over planning.
Take part and lead in go-live activities within the scope of the role.
Maintenance & Support
Take part in maintenance, support activities related to the role scope.
Work on assigned incidents, problems, service and change requests.
Process
Adhere to relevant process like project methodology, solution change management, configuration & release management, deployment management, postproduction support processes.
Align with project managers & support leaders for time planning, task execution, prioritizations.
Forums
Take part in different project and support forums.
Contribute with inputs to these forums with requirements management, solution management, testing, support tickets resolution.
Hands-on approach
D365 ERP solution touches business processes in sales, order management, pricing, sourcing, purchasing, manufacturing, inventory, warehousing, transportation, field service, financial management. Therefore, a very hands-on and cross-functional approach is needed in this role. The role focuses on delivering business values through best fit technology solution in collaboration with key stakeholders from business and IT.
As Microsoft Dynamics 365 Functional Specialist, you will be responsible to collect requirements from business teams globally and translate business requirements into system solutions in the area of Manufacturing, Warehouse & Transportation. You will design and configure D365 and work closely with development team to realize business requirements for extended solutions. You will also be responsible for testing of solutions before handing over to business teams and assist business for functional testing. You will lead training in your responsibility area. You will lead go-live activities together with the cross-functional teams. You will provide support after go-live and work on maintenance activities. The role will be part of the global IT team. Global Digital and IT Service is responsible to provide IT services and large programs, projects to support business strategy. The role is within the business transformation that is responsible for enterprise applications and large-scale transformation programs both in Digital and IT. The role reports to the Director Business Transformation at Piab Group.Poses relevant bachelor's or master's Degree.
6-10 years of relevant functional work experience within Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Thorough knowledge and experience in the area of Manufacturing (BOM, Production order, Production execution, Sub-contracting, Quality, Production costing); Warehouse & Transportation (Inventory, advanced warehouse, goods receiving, Stock transfer, Stock replenishment, non-stock item handling, Cycle count, Scrap handling, Picking, packing, shipping, Transportation, Labelling/label printing).
Additionally good knowledge and understanding of cross functional impacts on sales, sourcing, procurement and finance).
Working experience with ISV solutions.
Experience working in large and complex D365 ERP implementation projects is must. At least able to demonstrate 2 large implementation projects.
Experience working with D365 maintenance and support in D365 is required.
Experience working with D365 data migration, integrations are required.
Experience working in international environments and assignments are necessary. Have experience working with Europe, US, Asia implementations ?Global implementation?.
Experience working with tools like Jira / HP ALM / ServiceNow, SharePoint is required. Experience working in leading requirement, solution workshops.
Demonstrate solid ability to work collaborative way in a team.
Experience working agile and waterfall methodology. Thorough understanding of change, release, deploy, testing, training and IT service methodologies.
Able to understand business needs and translate business needs into tangible solutions.
Willingness to travel.
Experience from B2B organization is an advantage.
Be result driven and has analytical skills.
Experience working with MS word, Power points, Excel and project related tools.
Ability to multi-task and manage various task elements simultaneously.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate in a concise and professional manner. It is required that person is a good team player, sociable.
Language Requirements
Fluent in English both writing and speaking.
Any other language skills are advantage.
