Job Description

Role Overview



The ERP Executive will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing the company's ERP system. The role includes user support, data accuracy, report generation, troubleshooting system issues, and coordinating with departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations across Production, Inventory, Purchase, Sales, Finance, and Quality modules.

Key Responsibilities1. ERP System Management



Maintain and monitor the ERP system to ensure smooth functioning. Manage user accounts, roles, and access rights. Coordinate with ERP vendor for updates, bug fixes, and customizations.

2. Data Management & Accuracy



Ensure timely and accurate data entry across all modules. Validate and audit data for inconsistencies, duplicate entries, and errors. Support departments in maintaining master data (Item Master, BOM, Customer/Supplier Master, etc.).

3. User Support & Training



Provide first-level support to users for any ERP-related queries. Conduct training sessions for new joiners and existing staff on ERP usage. Prepare training manuals, SOPs, and documentation.

4. Reporting & Analytics



Generate MIS reports for management (Production, Sales, Inventory, Dispatch, Rejection, etc.). Automate reports and dashboards wherever possible. Support management in data-driven decision-making.

5. Process Improvement



Identify gaps in current processes and suggest improvements. Work with departments to streamline workflows within the ERP. Ensure standardization of processes across all units.

6. Coordination



Act as a bridge between departments and the ERP software provider. Coordinate new module implementations or enhancements. Conduct periodic reviews with users to capture issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Commerce, or related field. 1-3 years of experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP B1, Tally, Oracle, Zeta, Busy, Odoo, etc.). Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (Production, Purchase, Inventory, QC, Finance). Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, Data Cleaning). Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications



Experience in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of data migration, SQL, or report-writing tools. Ability to create SOPs, flowcharts, and documentation.
