In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to the successful candidate by New Consumer Health at an appropriate time and would be subject to any necessary consultation processes. : The ER/LR Manager, India has overall responsibility to lead delivery of Employee Relations and Labor Relations Services for designated workforce group(s) within India. They are responsible for the effective management of Employee Relations matters (including, but not limited to, low performance, grievances, and discipline) and for the Employment law expertise in their perimeter. They manage Labor Relations in partnership with the Businesses (CBA administration and negotiation, employee representatives' meetings, LR procedures, etc.). They will provide overall Labor Relations support throughout the collective bargaining process. They will drive proactive initiatives to increase ER/LR awareness with Managers & Employees and will support any ad hoc workforce events (M&A, Divestitures, etc.) requiring ER or LR involvement. The ER/LR Manager, India operates as a steward for the company, escalating matters of concern as necessary to ensure that the interest of the company is protected. The ER/LR Manager, India manages assigned cases to ensure appropriate resolution of service requests within defined time periods, levels of accuracy and quality standards and customer satisfaction levels. They adhere to established standards and guidelines. The ER/LR Manager, India is responsible for leading a team that provides services in a timely manner, treats the workforce respectfully and maintains high levels of confidentiality, trust, and integrity in the handling of sensitive matters. They foster a culture of rigorous adherence to standards, process excellence and continuous improvement. Approximately 30% travel is required, both domestic and international. Qualifications Position Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent is required 8+ years HR experience with a concentration in Employee Relations and Labor Relations Expertise of Employment and Labor Relations regulations & practices Experience in diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems Experience managing, planning, and implementing projects and strategic change initiatives Knowledge of organizational design Knowledge of third-party vendors' management Experience of industrial labor relations and of direct management of complex negotiations and sensitive issues Identified specific expertise on at least one given topic belonging to the ER/LR domain Detail-oriented (especially regarding effectively managing employee relations issues and investigations) Influence leadership skills, in an indirect, matrix-based, and virtual environment Enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment Strong management skills Relationship management, coaching and collaboration skills Analytical skills Influence, negotiation, and consultative skills Strong interpersonal, consultative and facilitation skills Strong presentation skills: can speak across various forums and communicate to diverse audiences Strong communication (oral and written) skills Strong MS office and related technology tools skills Preferred Requirements/Competencies: Advanced degree in a business field, Human Resources or Industrial Relations or Law Degree is preferred Primary Location India-Karnataka-Bangalore- Organization Johnson & Johnson Private Limited (8080) Job Function Human Resources Requisition ID 2206085653W
