Masters degree in Physiotherapy

with

prior experience as an Ergonomist in a corporate set up.

Advanced degrees or certifications in ergonomics are preferred.

Overall Purpose of The Job

Ergonomist - Corporate Clinic is responsible for ensuring the well-being, comfort, and productivity of employees by optimizing their work environment and minimizing the risk of musculoskeletal disorders.

You will conduct ergonomic assessments, identify potential risks and hazards, provide recommendations, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement ergonomic solutions. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting training and education programs to promote proper ergonomic practices among employees.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct ergonomic assessments of workspaces, including furniture, equipment, and workstations, to identify potential ergonomic issues.

Identify and evaluate risks and hazards related to ergonomics, such as poor posture, repetitive motion injuries, excessive force exertion, and awkward body positions.

Analyse work processes and tasks to determine areas that may lead to discomfort or injury.

Provide practical recommendations to mitigate identified ergonomic risks, including adjustments to workstation setup, ergonomic furniture and equipment, and guidance on proper posture and movement.

Collaborate with employees, managers, human resources, and occupational health and safety teams to communicate findings and recommendations effectively.

Work together with stakeholders to implement appropriate ergonomic solutions, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines.

Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on proper ergonomic practices, including the use of ergonomic equipment and tools.

Stay updated with the latest research, trends, and advancements in ergonomics to continuously improve ergonomic practices within the organization.

Maintain accurate records of assessments, recommendations, and interventions, and generate reports as required.

Foster a culture of ergonomic awareness and promote the importance of employee wellbeing and comfort in the workplace.

Collaborate with facility management and design teams to ensure that new office spaces or renovations incorporate ergonomic principles and standards from the planning stage.

Conduct post-implementation assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of ergonomic interventions and make necessary adjustments based on employee feedback and observations.

Provide guidance and support to employees experiencing discomfort or musculoskeletal issues, offering ergonomic solutions tailored to their specific needs.

Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends in ergonomic equipment, tools, and software, and make recommendations for their implementation.

Develop and implement ergonomic policies, guidelines, and procedures to promote consistent ergonomic practices across the organization.

Participate in professional development activities to continuously enhance knowledge and expertise in the field.

Collaborate with health and wellness programs to integrate ergonomic initiatives into broader employee well-being initiatives.

Conduct ergonomic audits or inspections to proactively identify potential ergonomic issues and recommend corrective measures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?50,000.00 - ?70,000.00 per month
