We are urgently seeking two experienced and motivated
Project Quality Engineers - Electrical
for continuous deputation at our BMH project site in Dhamra, Odisha. The role involves overseeing quality assurance, execution, and compliance during the erection and commissioning of
Bulk Material Handling (BMH) equipment
, ensuring adherence to project specifications, safety standards, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Erection & Commissioning: Lead and supervise the on-site erection and commissioning activities for:
o Bulk Material Handling Systems including Conveyors and Transfer Towers.
o Stackers, Reclaimers, and Ship Loaders.
o Twin Wagon Tipplers.
Ensure quality control and assurance during erection & commissioning of BMH electrical systems and equipment.
Monitor installation activities for compliance with project specifications, drawings, and industry standards.
Conduct inspections, testing, and documentation as per QAP/ITP.
Coordinate with site execution teams, contractors, and client representatives for smooth project progress.
Identify quality issues, raise NCRs, and ensure timely corrective/preventive actions.
Review and verify test reports, checklists, method statements, and commissioning documents.
Ensure proper calibration, handling, and usage of testing instruments and tools.
Support commissioning activities including trials, system checks, and performance verification.
Maintain safety compliance and ensure adherence to organizational EHS policie.Prepare daily/weekly quality reports and communicate progress to project management.
Skills & Competencies Required
Strong knowledge of electrical systems related to Bulk Material Handling (conveyors, stackers, reclaimers, drives, MCCs, PCCs, etc.).
Familiarity with erection and commissioning processes, electrical testing protocols, and safety standards.
Ability to read engineering drawings (SLDs, GA drawings, wiring diagrams)
Good documentation, reporting, and coordination skills.
Problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to resolving site issues.
Willingness to work at a remote project site on continuous deputation.
Preferred Experience
Experience in BMH/Material Handling projects (ports, mines, power plants, steel plants, etc.).
Exposure to QA/QC procedures for electrical erection and testing.
Site execution experience with contractors and OEMs.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
