Job Description

An Erection and Commissioning Engineer is responsible for overseeing the installation, testing, and bringing to operational status of various systems and equipment on-site, ensuring they meet project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. Key duties include planning and executing erection activities, conducting pre-commissioning checks, troubleshooting issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Management & Supervision:

Managing and coordinating site activities related to the erection and installation of equipment or systems, often involving mechanical and electrical components, and overseeing on-site teams and contractors.

Installation & Erection:

Supervising the physical installation of machinery, equipment, and systems according to engineering drawings and project specifications.

Commissioning & Testing:

Performing pre-commissioning checks, functional testing, and performance verification of installed systems to ensure they operate as designed.

Troubleshooting & Problem Solving:

Identifying and resolving mechanical, electrical, or installation-related issues that arise during the erection and commissioning phases.

Quality & Safety Compliance:

Ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety regulations throughout the project lifecycle.

Documentation & Reporting:

Preparing and maintaining detailed reports, checklists, and documentation related to project progress, inspections, and commissioning.

Coordination:

Liaising with project teams, design departments, vendors, and clients to ensure seamless execution and project delivery.

Training & Handover:

Providing technical support and training to clients or end-users on system operation and maintenance upon handover.

Pay: ?25,313.19 - ?30,757.10 per month
