Key Responsibilities:

Analyzing Financial Statements:

Examining company financial statements to understand their performance and financial position.

Performing Valuations:

Using various valuation techniques to determine the intrinsic value of companies and their stocks.

Developing Economic Models:

Building models to forecast future performance, including earnings estimates and stock price projections.

Creating Reports:

Preparing detailed reports that summarize findings, analysis, and recommendations.

Making Recommendations:

Providing investment recommendations (e.g., buy, sell, hold) based on research findings.

Communicating with Stakeholders:

Presenting findings and recommendations to investors, fund managers, and other stakeholders.

Industry Tracking:

Monitoring industry-specific news, trends, and developments.

Building Relationships:

Establishing relationships with company investor relations teams.

Collaborating with Internal Teams:

Working with sales and trading teams to respond to news, corporate actions, and reporting events.

Staying Informed:

Keeping abreast of market trends and sentiment.
Qualifications:

Education:

A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field is typically required.

Skills:

Strong quantitative skills, analytical aptitude, and excellent communication and presentation skills are essential.

Experience:

While entry-level positions may require a recent degree, experience in financial analysis or research is often preferred.
