Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically strong

Equity Research Associate

with

2-3 years of hands-on experience

in researching

Indian listed companies

. The role involves deep fundamental analysis through annual reports, concall transcripts, financial statements, and publicly available information to support investment decision-making.

Candidates

must have prior equity research experience

. This role is

not suitable for freshers

.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct

in-depth fundamental research

on Indian listed companies across sectors Analyze

annual reports, quarterly results, investor presentations, and concall transcripts

Build and maintain

financial models

(P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, valuation models) Perform

industry and peer comparison analysis

Track corporate actions, management commentary, macro and sectoral developments Source and evaluate

relevant information from public domains

, regulatory filings, and credible web sources Prepare

research notes, investment theses, and summary reports

for internal use Monitor existing coverage companies and update models post results and key events Support senior analysts / fund managers in idea generation and portfolio tracking
Mandatory Requirements

2-3 years of prior experience

in

equity research (Indian markets)

Proven experience in

reading and interpreting annual reports and concall transcripts

Strong understanding of

financial statements, ratios, and valuation techniques

Hands-on experience with

Excel-based financial modeling

Ability to independently analyze companies using publicly available data

Freshers / candidates with 0 years of experience must NOT apply

Preferred Qualifications

CA (Inter), CFA (Level I / II cleared), MBA (Finance) or equivalent Experience covering mid-cap or small-cap Indian stocks Familiarity with databases such as Screener, Capitaline, Bloomberg, Refinitiv, or similar Strong written and verbal communication skills
