Job Position: Equity Analyst (Buy Side) Desired Qualification: CFA / CA / MBA (Finance) Department: Investment Experience: 7- 14 years Job Brief:
  • We are looking for an Equity Research Manager/Portfolio Manager - Equity who should be able to do deep-dive Fundamental research on any given company/Sector/sub-sectors (preferably in the Indian Market). Make a presentation and brainstorm investment ideas with the investment team in order to make a group decision on whether or not to invest in a specific idea.
Responsibilities: 1. Able to undertake deep-dive fundamental research, financial modelling, valuation matrix and conduct due diligence on companies and industries to generate value- added investment ideas. 2. Keep a track of the portfolio company\xe2\x80\x99s results/events, sectoral indices of various industries to make better investment decisions. 3. Meet corporates in the sector as well as attend analyst meets and annual general meetings to expand his knowledge horizon. 4. Compose comprehensive research reports to support investment recommendations. 5. Present and brainstorm investment ideas with the investment team to take a collective decision whether or not to invest in a particular stock as a group. 6. Must be able to think independently and come up with unique investing ideas. 7. Support the investment team with any private equities and other ad hoc research for different projects for detailed research work. Key Requirements: 1. Excellent financial modelling and analysis skills are a pre-requisite. 2. Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills. 3. Must work well in a fast paced environment with others in a closely-knitted team, and yet be able to work independently. 4. Reading habit.
