Job Description

Job Purpose

To oversee and manage the manufacturing, installation, operation, and maintenance of Air Handling Units (AHU), ensuring optimum performance, quality, on-time delivery, and cost efficiency.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Production / Manufacturing

Plan and monitor AHU production activities as per order schedule. Ensure quality standards for components like coils, filters, blowers, motors, control panels. Coordinate with purchase & store teams for material availability. Maintain production timelines and minimize rework/rejection.

2. Installation & Commissioning

Supervise AHU installation at customer sites. Perform system testing, balancing & commissioning. Ensure electrical & mechanical safety compliance.

3. Maintenance & Servicing

Develop preventive maintenance schedules for AHU equipment. Troubleshoot breakdowns and ensure quick restoration. Monitor coil cleaning, filter replacement, belt tensioning, lubrication etc.

4. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain daily production/maintenance records & checklists. Ensure AMC documentation, service history & performance tracking. Prepare monthly productivity, downtime & maintenance reports.

5. Team & Coordination

Lead and manage AHU technicians & production workers. Conduct training sessions on AHU installation, troubleshooting & safety. Coordinate with design, sales, procurement & QA departments.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of HVAC & Air Handling Units. Understanding of CFM, static pressure, heat load calculation. Ability to read technical drawings & BOQ. Hands-on experience in coil, blower, filter & motor maintenance. Problem-solving ability & analytical mindset. Leadership and team management skills.

Qualifications

Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Mechanical, Electrical or HVAC Engineering. Certification in HVAC preferred.

Pay: ₹11,640.02 - ₹64,879.33 per month
