Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced

Equipment Engineer

to

support 200mm semiconductor manufacturing tools

, responsible for

AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) support, tool installation, qualification, and ongoing equipment maintenance

. The role involves hands-on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and close coordination with customers and internal teams to ensure high tool uptime and performance.

Roles And Responsibilities

Follow up & perform, tool installation, hook-up support, commissioning, and qualification along with OEM vendors. Execute preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance to ensure maximum tool uptime. Troubleshoot equipment issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement corrective actions. Support process-related issues in coordination with process and customer teams. Troubleshoot issues related to vacuum systems, gas delivery systems, RF systems, and automation/Handler systems. Diagnose and resolve electrical, electronics, and basic PLC-related faults. Maintain detailed service reports, maintenance logs, and documentation. Ensure adherence to safety, EHS, and fab protocols. Provide off-shift and on-call support as required. Travel to customer sites (domestic & international) for installations and service support.

Eligibility Criteria

Mandatory Skills:

Total experience:

Minimum

5-7 yearsin semiconductor wafer fab equipment support.

International fab exposure:

3 years of international fab experience. Hands-on experience with

200mm wafer fab equipment

in one or more modules- Thin Film (PVD/CVD), Dry Etch, Wet Etch, Diffusion, Metrology, Photolithography (equipment maintenance) Strong

equipment troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

. Good understanding of

vacuum systems

. Working knowledge of

electrical and electronic systems

.

Diploma or bachelor's degree in engineering

(Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Instrumentation, or related discipline). Ability to analyse complex equipment failures and drive resolution independently. Must be willing to work in an international location outside India and support customer fab operations through travel or on-site overseas assignments.
