- E-Publishing Professional

Experience: 0 - 4 years (Freshers also welcome)

Location: Madurai

Skills Required

Freshers: HTML, CSS (basic knowledge is sufficient)

Experienced (0-4 yrs): HTML, CSS, XML, Epsilon (or equivalent pagination tools)

Microsoft Word knowledge (added advantage)

Good understanding of document formatting and style sheets

Roles & Responsibilities

Convert source content (Word, PDF, InDesign, etc.) into structured digital formats (XML/HTML/EPUB).

Apply styles, layouts, and formatting rules according to client specifications.

Work with typesetting and pagination tools (Epsilon or similar).

Perform quality checks (QC/QA) to ensure accuracy in formatting, hyperlinks, images, and metadata.

Handle eBook conversion (EPUB, MOBI, etc.) and make files compatible with e-readers (Kindle, iBooks, etc.).

Maintain consistency in styling across large volumes of content.

Collaborate with team leads to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality output.

Preferred Qualities

Attention to detail - spotting formatting errors and inconsistencies.

Analytical skills - ability to follow client style guides and publishing standards.

Flexibility - willingness to learn new tools and publishing workflows.

Good communication skills to understand requirements and report issues.

Ability to work individually as well as in a team.
