CTG is seeking to fill a Epic Practice Management Architect position for our client.
Job Summary
CTG is seeking a Epic Practice Management Architect serves as an enterprise solution leader responsible for the strategic design, integration, and optimization of Epic Practice Management and Revenue Cycle solutions. This role brings deep expertise in Epic ADT and Resolute HB/PB to ensure front-end workflows are tightly integrated with downstream billing, claims, and reimbursement processes. The Architect partners with clinical, operational, and financial leadership to deliver scalable, compliant, and high-performing Epic solutions across the health system.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Solution Strategy

  • Act as the enterprise architect for Epic Practice Management, providing strategic oversight of scheduling, registration, ADT, patient access, and front-end revenue cycle workflows.
  • Design end-to-end Epic solutions that seamlessly integrate Practice Management with ADT and Resolute HB/PB workflows.
  • Establish and enforce Epic build standards, architectural patterns, and governance processes.
Epic ADT & Revenue Cycle Integration
  • Lead solution design for Epic ADT workflows including patient movement, bed management, encounter creation, and downstream impacts to billing and clinical systems.
  • Ensure accurate and compliant data flow from ADT and PM into Resolute Hospital Billing and Professional Billing.
  • Optimize charge capture, claims generation, and billing accuracy through strong front-end configuration and validation.
Implementation & Optimization Leadership
  • Lead complex Epic implementations, upgrades, and optimization initiatives involving PM, ADT, and Resolute.
  • Assess current-state workflows and system build to identify opportunities for automation, efficiency, and revenue improvement.
  • Guide testing strategies, integrated testing, and go-live readiness activities.
Stakeholder Engagement & Advisory
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, patient access, revenue cycle, finance, and IT stakeholders.
  • Facilitate workflow design sessions and provide clear recommendations aligned with organizational goals and Epic best practices.
  • Support change management, prioritization, and roadmap planning for PM and Revenue Cycle initiatives.
Governance, Quality & Mentorship
  • Ensure compliance with Epic standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.
  • Review and approve complex configuration changes and architectural decisions.
  • Mentor Epic analysts and senior analysts; promote best practices and knowledge sharing across teams.
Required Qualifications
  • Epic Business Certified - Practice Management (PM) (REQUIRED).
  • Active Epic certification(s) required; non-certified candidates will not be considered.
  • 7+ years of progressive Epic experience with significant responsibility in PM, ADT, and Revenue Cycle domains.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Epic ADT workflows and configuration.
  • Deep expertise in Resolute Hospital Billing (HB) and Professional Billing (PB).
  • Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-scale Epic implementations or optimizations.
  • Strong understanding of front-to-back revenue cycle workflows and financial impacts.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Additional Epic certifications (e.g., ADT, Resolute HB, Resolute PB, Prelude, Cadence).
  • Experience in large, multi-facility health systems or academic medical centers.
  • Prior experience in an Epic Architect, Principal Analyst, or Solution Architect role.
  • Experience with third-party integrations and interoperability related to patient access and billing.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $115,000 to $165,000 annually. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
