EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) (JD) in solar involves managing the complete lifecycle of a solar project, from initial site assessment, design (Engineering), sourcing equipment (Procurement), to physical installation, testing, and commissioning (Construction). Key responsibilities include leading teams, ensuring quality & safety, coordinating stakeholders, managing budgets, and handling project documentation, requiring expertise in PV systems and project management for roles like Project Manager, Design Engineer, or Site Engineer. Core Responsibilities

Engineering:

Site surveys, feasibility studies, system design (layout, electrical, mechanical), technology selection, and creating detailed drawings/specifications.

Procurement:

Sourcing panels, inverters, structures, managing supply chain, and ensuring quality/standards compliance.

Construction:

Site prep, installation, wiring, system integration, safety checks, performance testing, and commissioning.

Project Management:

Budgeting, scheduling, reporting, client/contractor coordination, risk management, and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.

Post-Commissioning:

Maintenance, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Key Skills & Experience

Technical:

Deep understanding of PV systems, electrical & mechanical designs, solar technology, grid connectivity.

Management:

Team leadership, stakeholder coordination, budgeting, reporting.

Soft Skills:

Problem-solving, effective communication, negotiation.

Experience:

Proven track record in managing multiple solar projects from start to finish, often with 3-15+ years in EPC companies.
