Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced

EOHS Professional

with a minimum of

5 years of experience

in Environment, Occupational Health, and Safety management. The candidate must have strong knowledge of

all applicable government norms, legal compliances, and safety regulations

, especially for industrial/manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe, compliant, and environmentally sustainable workplace.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and monitor

EOHS policies

, procedures, and standards. Ensure compliance with

all government regulations

, including: Factory Act & OSH Code Pollution Control Board (KSPCB/TNPCB etc.) norms Fire & Safety regulations Hazardous Waste Management Rules Environmental Clearance & Consent (CTO/CTE) requirements Safety Committee norms & statutory audits Conduct regular

safety inspections

, risk assessments, HIRA & job safety analysis. Lead safety campaigns, training, toolbox talks, and emergency preparedness drills. Investigate incidents/accidents and implement corrective & preventive actions. Maintain statutory records, permits, compliance reports, and documentation. Coordinate with government authorities during inspections and audits. Train employees, contractors, and visitors on safety practices. Drive initiatives for environmental sustainability, waste management, and zero-incident culture.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum

5 years of EOHS / EHS experience

in manufacturing/industrial setup. Strong knowledge of

all government safety & environmental norms

. Degree/Diploma in

Industrial Safety / Environmental Engineering / Fire & Safety

. Certifications preferred: NEBOSH, IOSH, First Aid Training. Excellent knowledge of legal compliances and risk management. Strong communication, training, and documentation skills. Ability to manage emergency responses and safety protocols.
