Key Responsibilities:
Collect, validate, and analyse environmental data to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations for air emissions, waste management, and toxic release inventory reporting
Prepare and submit required reports, permit applications to regulatory agencies and coordinate with customer business units for required renewals and modifications to permit applications.
Research and stay informed about applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards related to environmental emissions and waste management in upstream oil and gas, and interpreting their implications.
Assisting in the preparation and submission of regulatory documents, such as filings for product approvals, renewals, and required reports.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather information, provide regulatory guidance, and foster a culture of compliance.
Manage multiple projects of varying scales and complexity.
Consolidate reporting records as per daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annual, and annual requirements
Work Experience
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in environmental/chemical/petroleum/mechanical engineering
Experience with environmental reporting, compliance, or permitting in the oil and gas industry, refinery, or manufacturing facility
2-5 years of experience in Regulatory reporting and Environmental compliance
General understanding of state and federal regulations for Oil & Gas related environmental regulatory reporting requirements
Proficient in MS Office suit and interpret complex regulations and data
Ability to work independently and as a part of team
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
