Job Description

The EHS Manager position is responsible for developing, planning, coordinating and directing environmental and health/safety activities to ensure employee engagement, regulatory compliance and implement the EHS management system to protect human health and the environment. Safety officer EHS maintains documentation for processes SOPs (Standard Operating procedures), machineries and environment related for Government regulators. Maintaining good relationship with government regulatory authorities and also responsible to conduct surface drill operations and exploration camp facilities.

EHS officers and managers perform Internal EHS audits.

Roles and Responsibilities:



1.

Compliance Management:

Develop, implement, and maintain

EHS

policies, programs, and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards.

2.

Risk Assessment:

Identify potential environmental, health, and safety hazards within the workplace and conduct risk assessments to evaluate and mitigate risks.

3.

Incident Management:

Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and implement corrective and preventive measures to prevent reoccurrence.

4.

Training and Education:

Provide

EHS

training and education to employees and management to increase awareness and understanding of

EHS

policies and procedures.

5.

Environmental Management:

Oversee environmental initiatives, such as waste management, pollution prevention, and sustainability efforts, to minimize the organization's environmental impact.

6.

Safety Programs:

Develop and maintain safety programs, including emergency response plans, evacuation procedures, and safety drills.

7.

Monitoring and Reporting:

Conduct regular

EHS

audits and inspections to ensure compliance and prepare reports for management and regulatory authorities.

8.

Recordkeeping:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of

EHS

incidents, training sessions, inspections, and other relevant data.

9.

Collaboration:

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, engineering, and human resources, to integrate

EHS

practices into daily operations.

10.

Continuous Improvement:

Continuously monitor

EHS

performance, analyze trends, and implement improvements to enhance the overall safety and environmental performance of the organization.

?Qualification

Bachelor's degree Mechanical (or equivalent).

?Experience

Approximately 05+ years in Safety roles related to PEB & structural steel fabrication Company.
