ROLE Summary:


The purpose of the role is to support all the environment (gaseous liquids, solid and waste) treatment.
The candidate will support all the related compliance with respect to Wastewater (ETP, STP) treatment, fugitive emission, solid waste treatment and disposal.
The candidate will be responsible for above purposes at both Turbhe and Taloja sites.
Internal contacts:

• Communication: Production, Maintenance, Quality Assurance Laboratory (QAL), Projects & Health Safety (HSE)

External contacts:

• MPCB / CPCB \xe2\x80\x93 Local and national environmental authorities

RESPONSIBILITIES:


Monitor Day-today operations; ETP / STP meeting all the discharge norms and able to treat incoming effluents. Coordinate and lead the outsourced ETP team.
Records; maintain necessary daily records through the operation team. Prepare records for monthly and annual submissions for internal stakeholders and statutory requirements.
Compliment and support the site journey of ZERO HARM; ZERO INJURY
Responsible for ensuring effective operation of ETP / STP to meet consent conditions. Coordination with Common effluent treatment plant (CETP). Simultaneously facilitating / managing incoming effluents.
Support legal requirement for monthly / yearly returns. Like Hazardous waste returns, environment statements, e-waste return, Bio medical waste returns.
The RM and power consumption records are maintained and presented to MPCB / CPCB officers as and when required.
Coordinate with Maintenance / project team to follow the preventive / predictive maintenance schedule.


Support ISO 9001, +91-XXXXXXXXXX systems for wastewater treatment plant process. support initiatives to the cause of better environment at facility level.


Support environmental audits of the facilities. Performance evaluation of pollution control equipment in plant such as scrubbers, incinerators, Dust filters etc.


Responsible for Monitoring, maintenance, and report generation of Continuous Emission Monitoring System (CEMS), online effluent monitoring system.
