Responsibilities:

Assist in conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration tests Monitor network traffic and security alerts for potential threats Support configuration and hardening of firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security tools Document findings, remediation steps, and maintain security playbooks Collaborate with cross-functional teams on incident response and root-cause analysis Stay updated on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices

Required Qualifications

Postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a Cyber Security specialization Fundamental understanding of vulnerability assessment methodologies Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls) Familiarity with common security tools and frameworks #
