Brief Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing software solutions to meet business requirements in line with the team's agile practices (Scrum/Kanban). This role involves working on a number of exciting projects within the Business Transformation Services (BTS) team.



Responsibilities:

Developing and maintaining high quality software applications Producing detailed design documentation and user manuals Providing technical guidance and support to other developers Assisting with testing and deployment activities Participating in code reviews and ensuring adherence to coding standards Mentoring junior developers where appropriate


Qualifications:

Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field Proven experience in development languages including C#, JavaScript, Python, Angular, HTML5, CSS3, .NET, SQL Server, Windows Azure, Git, JIRA and Confluence Experience with web-based technologies such as XML, JSON, RESTful services, WebSockets and NoSQL databases Knowledge of digital project management methodologies Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines Awareness of information security best practice

Travel Requirement

Up to 10% travel should be expected with this role
