Summary: As an AVEVA Solutions Engineer, you will design, develop, and deploy simulation and optimization solutions using AVEVA platforms, leveraging MES, Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS), Unified Operations Center (UOC), and Digital Twin frameworks to enhance capacity planning, improve throughput, and reduce cycle times across manufacturing and infrastructure environments. Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Develop, configure, and customize AVEVA-based simulation and optimization models for capacity planning, throughput, and cycle time analysis. 2. Build and validate digital models or logic flows using AVEVA MES/APS or related simulation platforms. 3. Integrate AVEVA solutions with plant data systems (e.g., PI System, historians, or ERP/MES layers). 4. Configure AVEVA APS for capacity-aware production scheduling, tool/line optimization, and load balancing. 5. Support development of Digital Twin and What-If Simulation models using AVEVA integration frameworks to evaluate process improvements, layout reconfigurations, or capacity expansion scenarios. 6. Implement and maintain AVEVA UOC dashboards for end-to-end operational visibility, integrating data from MES, SCADA, ERP, and historian systems. 7. Support proof-of-concept (PoC) and projects for cross-industry applications (Semiconductors, Data Centers, Oil & Gas, Automotive, CPG, Warehousing). 8. Work with cross-functional teams to translate process data and operational KPIs into simulation logic and decision models. 9.Collaborate with architects to scale and standardize AVEVA simulation templates across business units. 10. Document model logic, configuration workflows, and performance improvement outcomes. Professional & Technical Skills: 1. Strong proficiency in AVEVA MES, APS, UOC, or AVEVA Simulation/Model Builder tools. 2. Experience in process modeling, data mapping, and logic scripting within AVEVA environments. 3. Understanding of capacity planning, cycle time optimization, and production scheduling principles. 4. Familiarity with Python, SQL, or C# for tool extensions or API-based integration (preferred). 5. Exposure to Digital Twin or real-time operational intelligence (RtOI) projects is an advantage. Additional Info: 1. Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering; or related technical field. 2. Experience: 6-8 years overall, including 2-4 years hands-on with AVEVA tools, with exposure to industrial digitalization, MES/APS implementation, process optimization, IT/OT convergence, and system integration across manufacturing and infrastructure domains. 3.Certifications (preferred): AVEVA MES or UOC Implementation Certification, AVEVA PI System or APS Specialist Certification 4.
