Sub-K is a digital finance (fintech) company that aims to fulfil aspirations of underserved communities by democratizing finance. The company seeks to bridge the digital divide, and create a financially included society, through a robust and widespread distribution network and in-house fintech solutions. Sub-K was promoted by BASIX, a well known group for its pioneering work in financial inclusion and livelihood promotion, and supported by marque investors.

Sub-K serves over 3 million underbanked households including 500,000 borrowers through a network of agents and feet on the street salesforce. The company has facilitated disbursements of around 5,000 Crores (~USD 700 mn) of micro-loans and processes more than 10,000 Crores (USD 1.3 bn) of banking transactions annually through its platform. Sub-K operates in 20 states in India offering savings, credit, insurance and pensions through partnership with 12 banks.

About the work from home job/internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Templatize computation of various risks pertaining to the organization, formulae for which are already in existence
2. Enrich strategic, financial, operational, and legal risk monitoring by adding data-driven attributes across all risk categories
3. Train the concerned stakeholders for entering data inputs in the template, wherever required, while the template generates formula-based risk scores
4. Operationalize the template for minimal human intervention
