: Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Developer (5-8 Years Experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Developer

with 5-8 years of proven expertise in designing, developing, and implementing solutions within the Dynamics 365 ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of X++, data entities, extensions, integrations, and system performance optimization. This role involves working closely with functional consultants, solution architects, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, customize, and extend functionalities in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O using X++, C#, and related technologies. Develop and maintain

integrations

with third-party applications (using OData, Data Entities, APIs, Power Platform). Create and optimize

SSRS reports

,

data entities

, and

batch jobs

. Collaborate with

functional consultants

to understand business requirements and convert them into technical solutions. Implement best practices for performance tuning, security, and code optimization. Support code reviews, debugging, troubleshooting, and deployment activities. Participate in full software development lifecycle (SDLC) including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and production support. Stay updated with the latest features, updates, and best practices in the Dynamics 365 ecosystem.

Required Skills & Qualifications

5-8 years

of hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX / Dynamics 365 F&O development. Strong expertise in

X++ programming

,

extensions framework

, and

customizations

. Solid understanding of

D365 F&O architecture

, including AOT, tables, forms, classes, workflows, and security roles. Experience with

Data Management Framework (DMF)

and

Data Entities

. Knowledge of

SQL Server

,

SSRS reporting

, and database concepts. Experience with

Azure DevOps

for version control, builds, and deployments. Exposure to

integration techniques

(OData, APIs, Power Automate, Logic Apps). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. Excellent communication skills with ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Apps Developer Associate (or equivalent). Experience in

Retail, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain modules

. Familiarity with

Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate)

. Hands-on experience in

LCS (Lifecycle Services)

and environment management.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. * Relevant Microsoft certifications preferred.
