We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Networking L2 Engineer with strong expertise in routing, switching, and Cisco enterprise networking technologies. The role involves design, implementation, troubleshooting, and support of large-scale enterprise networks, working closely with customers, project managers, and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and troubleshoot enterprise-level routing and switching networks
. Configure and support Cisco-based campus, data center, and WAN networks.
Work on multiple projects simultaneously (23 organization-level projects).
Collaborate with customers, project managers, and engineering teams to deliver customized network solutions.
Assist project managers with planning, execution, and status reporting to ensure timely delivery.
Ensure network resilience with high availability, security, scalability, and reliability.
Participate in network transformation, design, and deployment initiatives.
Technical Skills & Requirements:-
Routing & Switching
Strong understanding of L2/L3 networking concepts and packet flow in large-scale enterprise networks.
In-depth knowledge of routing protocols including
, including path selection, route attributes (AS-PATH, MED, Local Preference, Communities), and traffic engineering.
Hands-on experience with
STP
,
EtherChannel
,
Stacking
,
VPC
,
MC-LAG
,
VSS
, and
Multi-Chassis Link Aggregation
.
Strong knowledge of
FHRP protocols
such as HSRP and VRRP.
Experience with
NAT
and

Switching & Campus Networking
Good experience implementing enterprise switches, primarily Cisco Catalyst platforms.
Working knowledge of
802.1Q (Dot1Q)

Experience with
Cisco Wireless technologies

WLCs, Access Points, and CAPWAP

Overlay & SDN Technologies
Good understanding of overlay technologies such as

Practical experience with at least one of the following:
Cisco Nexus (NX-OS)
Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure)
Cisco SD-WAN (vManage, vBond, vSmart)
Cisco Software-Defined Access (SDA) fabric provisioning, policy configuration, and segmentation
Network Architecture
Strong understanding of enterprise network architectures:
Core, Distribution, Access
Collapsed Core
Software Defined Networking (SDN)
Hardware & Platforms
Hands-on experience with Cisco platforms including:
Catalyst Switches
Cisco WLCs and Access Points
Routers (ISR, ASR, 6500 series)
